Description
The BF FPV GT is one of the most complete Australian performance sedans Ford ever built. Under the bonnet sits the Boss 290 V8, pumping out 290kW and backed by a 6-speed automatic. Up front you have red Brembo calipers clamping on ventilated rotors, and the FPV-specific body kit gives it a properly aggressive stance without resorting to boy-racer theatrics. This one wears Winter White with blue Boss 290 racing stripes down the sides, dark gunmetal 5-spoke FPV alloys, and the signature GT duck-tail boot spoiler. It is an eye-catching combination that has aged well.
Photos show the exterior presenting very well for the age. Paint is glossy with good depth, panels are straight and properly aligned, and the full FPV body kit is intact including the front splitter, side skirts, and rear treatment. The vendor has done the right thing and replaced all suspension bushes, which is a solid spend on a 20-year-old performance car and means the chassis should feel tight. On the interior, the vendor is upfront that the leather is cracked and torn as shown in the photos, and there is general wear on the dash and trim. It is an honest driver's interior, not a show-room example, so factor that into your bid.
