A rare Melbourne Victory 2008/09 A-League Championship era signed Summit Size 5 football, hand signed in silver pen by members of the club’s title-winning squad.

The 2008/09 Hyundai A-League season was one of Melbourne Victory’s most successful campaigns. The club finished top of the table at the end of the regular season before defeating Adelaide United in the Grand Final to claim their second A-League Championship.

The ball is signed by approximately 12 identified members of the squad, including: Kevin Muscat, Michael Theoklitos, Mitchell Langerak, Michael Thwaite, Matthew Kemp, Evan Berger, Danny Allsopp, Ney Fabiano, Tom Pondeljak, Steven Pace, Steve Pantelidis and Rodrigo Vargas.

There are some smudge marks to the signatures and general age-related wear, but the ball presents in good overall condition for its age.
