Overview

A Trik Trailers single-axle cable drum trailer fitted with a hydraulic cable-laying system powered by a Kohler Command PRO CH440 petrol engine rated at 14 HP and 429 cc. The trailer features a large spoked cable drum mounted horizontally at the rear, a moulded operator seat, a hydraulic pump driven by the petrol engine, and hydraulic hoses running to the drum mechanism.

The trailer is fitted with a hinged mesh safety cage above the drum area, a white steel storage box behind the seat, and a galvanised steel chassis with a standard ball coupling at the drawbar. Red and white reflective chevron tape is fitted to the front and rear of the trailer. A Trik Trailers compliance plate is fitted to the left side of the chassis. A Revnl sold and serviced by Euro-Trans Pty Ltd plate is fitted to the drum mechanism. A service history plate is fitted to the storage box showing handwritten service entries.

Condition

The galvanised steel chassis and drawbar are in serviceable condition with general weathering. The white storage box shows paint peeling and surface rust on the upper lid panel. Rust staining is visible running down the body panels from the service plate area. The cable drum shows general wear and weathering across its spoked faces and rim. The operator seat is intact with light wear. The Kohler engine appears complete with air filter cover, recoil starter and fuel cap in place. Hydraulic hoses and fittings show general age-related wear. The tyres are fitted and inflated.
