Description/extras: Vendor advises: 1968 Holden HK GTS Monaro, Current custodian has owned the car for last 28 years, restored 17 years ago and travelled 2200 miles since, previous owner had it parked up in a shed for about 17 years. (meaning it has been garaged for approximately 43 years of 57 years) original hubcaps and some spares included. Re- painted in the hero colour of Warwick Yellow.
When it was rebuilt (17 years ago) the following work was completed -
- New paint
- New suspension, bushes, springs (coils and leaf) and shocks
- Diff is a 10 bolt LSD, it was never noisy so we only changed the oil and repainted.
- New steering, all ball joints, tie rod ends etc basically everything that moves.
- New engine (done professionally), including all new accessories and radiator and hoses.
- New brakes, new rear wheel cylinders, shoes and drums, front had rebuilt callipers, and new pads.
- New interior, including carpet and boot carpet, new red wood inserts, new dash pad, all interior inserts were re-chromed and the instrument cluster was recalibrated and stencilled to look as new.
- Has a new set of GTS hubcaps in the boot, vendor just always like it better with black rims, rims are HK slotted centres punched out into wider 7inch rims.
No body ID tags on vehicle and no books. Non factory sunroof fitted many years ago.
