Description
This is a ready-to-work package: a Kobelco SK17SR-5 1.7-tonne mini excavator loaded on a 2021 Rollmax SureWeld Nexxgen plant trailer, complete with multiple attachments. Hook up and go. The SK17SR-5 is Kobelco's short-radius 1.7-tonne mini, designed for tight access work including landscaping, plumbing, drainage, and residential earthworks. At 1,740kg operating weight with a rated output of 10.1kW, it is towable by most utes and light trucks on the included trailer.
The excavator shows 3,623 hours, which is in the mid-to-high range for a 1.7T class machine. The rubber tracks show moderate wear with some chunking and tread lug deterioration on both sides. The undercarriage rollers and idlers appear serviceable. The blade shows heavy surface rust and wear. Boom and stick have significant paint loss and corrosion but appear structurally sound. The engine appears complete with no visible leaks. The ROPS canopy has been removed from the machine and is included separately (photos 38-40), requiring reinstallation.
The attachment package includes at least three digging buckets of varying widths, a single-tine ripper (6,500mm bucket length, 30mm pin, 105mm BTE, 110mm centre-to-centre), and what appears to be a mechanical quick-hitch coupler with "QUICK HITCH" lever on the right joystick. The operator's station has dual pilot-control joysticks and travel levers. Fuel gauge shows near empty at time of photography.
The 2021 Rollmax SureWeld Nexxgen plant trailer is a quality tandem-axle unit with aluminium checker-plate deck, fold-out aluminium loading ramps, Knott KFG27 coupling with mechanical override braking system, 14-inch white steel rims, jockey wheel, and LED lights.
