The Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph holds a unique place in motoring history as the last of the genuinely hand-built Rolls-Royces from Crewe. Introduced in 1998, it was the first Rolls-Royce to use a BMW-derived engine, the magnificent 5.4-litre V12 M73, and the result is a car that combines the traditional Rolls-Royce craftsmanship of the Crewe era with a level of mechanical refinement that older models simply could not match. Only 1,570 Silver Seraphs were built between 1998 and 2002, making this example number H01428 a genuinely rare car. Values have been rising as collectors recognise that these are the last of a very particular breed.
