Description

The highest bid lot in this auction, and for good reason. The HSV GTS Coupe in 1:18 scale, finished in the deep HSV Racing Green that just oozes presence. The real car was a genuine halo model for Holden Special Vehicles, powered by the LS1 V8 and limited in production. This scale model captures the muscular two-door proportions and the distinctive HSV bodywork beautifully, right down to the aggressive front bumper and quad exhaust tips.


The model is in excellent condition. The dark green metallic paint is glossy and even, the five-spoke alloy wheel replicas are crisp, and the chrome window surrounds and badging are well-defined. Interior detail through the windows shows the leather sport seats and HSV instrumentation. The model sits in its original white styrofoam cradle within the HSV-branded box. Certificate of Authenticity confirms edition number 1827 of 5000.


HSV collectors are a devoted bunch and the GTS Coupe holds a special place as one of the last great two-door Holdens. The Racing Green colour adds to the appeal.
