The VE Valiant is one of the most distinctly styled Chrysler Australias ever built, its American-influenced lines and upright greenhouse giving it a presence that smaller European cars of the era couldn't match. The 225 cubic inch Slant Six is one of the most durable engine designs Chrysler ever produced, with a reputation for going well beyond 200,000 miles with basic maintenance. These VE sedans are becoming genuine collectibles as original survivors thin out, and an unrestored example with documented history is a different proposition to a restored car.
This VE presents as a genuine unrestored survivor in honest condition. The blue exterior is faded and oxidised throughout, which is expected on a car of this age that hasn't been painted.
