The VE SS Ute was Australia's last great V8 performance coupe utility: locally built, rear-wheel drive, and offered with a six-speed manual that put it in a class of its own. This 2007 example takes that recipe a step further with a positive displacement supercharger fitted to the 6.0-litre V8, transforming an already serious machine into something genuinely potent. The engine bay confirms the setup: a Roots-type supercharger sits prominently on the V8, fed by an aftermarket cold air intake with a cone filter and blue silicone boost plumbing. This is a proper forced-induction build, not a badge job.
