One of the most compositionally rich and romantically charged works in this series, this piece places a large ibex or mountain goat with dramatically curved, ridged horns at the center-left foreground. To the left, a generous cluster of pink and peach roses or peonies blooms behind the animal. The architectural cityscape behind them is particularly elaborate, with domed buildings, arched windows, spiral ramps, and geometric forms, and a crescent moon rises in the upper left sky. The palette is notably richer and more saturated than many works in the series, with deep teals, blues, purples, magentas, golds, and warm earths working together in a dense, jewel-like harmony.<br>

The most significant feature of this work is the handwritten dedication on the verso, in which the artist identifies himself as "Ishi" and dedicates the work to his wife with deep personal sentiment.
