<b>Description</b><br>
A lighter and more lyrical work in the ISHISHI collection, presented in landscape orientation and notable for its softer, more pastel palette. Interlocking arches, domes, staircases and towers are woven through with flowing baroque scroll and volute forms, particularly prominent on the left side. The composition includes a peace symbol or circular medallion left of centre and a circular grid/globe pattern in the centre-right area - small symbolic inclusions that distinguish this work from the purely architectural fantasies.<br><br>
The palette is soft and harmonious: pale pinks, mauves, light blues, creams, soft greens and warm browns. The composition flows with more organic curves than many of the more angular ISHISHI works. Faint show-through on verso from pencil pressure. Verso bears a partial copyright notation. Signed "ISHISHI" in reddish-brown at lower right.<br><br>
