Description


This collection comprises three exquisitely hand-carved gemstone animal figurines, each meticulously crafted from natural stone. The lot includes representations of aquatic and terrestrial fauna, demonstrating skilled artisanal workmanship throughout.




Individual Pieces


Piece 1: Carved from banded agate with natural colour variations in green, brown and cream tones. Features detailed segmented body work with articulated fins and tail structure. Polished to a high lustre finish.




Piece 2: Fashioned from purple and green amethyst with natural colour banding. Exhibits similar anatomical detailing with carefully rendered fins and body segments. Demonstrates the natural colour gradation inherent to the amethyst material.




Piece 3: Larger sculptural form carved from multi-coloured jasper incorporating browns, greens and natural stone patina. Features more pronounced three-dimensional modelling with prominent head detail and extended body work. Shows natural weathering consistent with the material's geological origin.
