The split-window Kombi is the one everybody wants. Produced in T2a form from 1950 to 1967, the two-piece windscreen era is defined by that iconic centre dividing bar, and examples in excellent condition from the early 1960s command serious money at international auction. This 1962 bus sits squarely in the heart of the most sought-after period. It is finished in the factory colour combination of Pearl White (L87) over Mouse Grey (L325), confirmed by the original build plate present on the vehicle. The two-tone presentation is exactly what the market wants, and the paint carries even gloss across both colours.
Inside, this Kombi presents in exceptional condition across all three rows of seating. The grey vinyl bench seats are clean and unworn, the headliner is intact, and the corrugated rubber floor matting is in excellent shape throughout.
