Description:

Curated Collection of Natural Mineral Specimens and Polished Agate Slices

Lot Overview

A comprehensive collection of natural mineral specimens and decorative agate pieces, professionally curated and photographed. This diverse assemblage showcases multiple mineral types, finishes, and geological formations suitable for collectors, educators, interior designers, and mineral enthusiasts.

Collection Contents

Pale Green and White Specimens

Smooth, polished tumbled stones in soft pale green and cream white tones. These specimens display natural mineral banding and subtle colour variations. Sizes range from approximately 20mm to 45mm. The pale green stones exhibit translucent qualities characteristic of jade, aventurine, or similar silicate minerals. White specimens show natural grey and black mineral inclusions. All pieces are hand-polished to a high gloss finish.

Black Tourmaline Specimens

Raw and naturally polished black tourmaline chunks with characteristic angular, striated surfaces. These specimens display the distinctive parallel striations and deep black coloration typical of tourmaline crystals. Sizes range from 25mm to 55mm. Several pieces show natural termination points and prismatic crystal structure. Surface texture ranges from rough natural faces to semi-polished areas.

Ammonite Fossils

Polished ammonite specimens with visible spiral chamber patterns and fossilised shell structure. These pieces display brown and grey tones with cream-coloured mineral infill. The ammonites show clear segmentation and the characteristic spiral geometry of cephalopod fossils. Sizes range from 30mm to 70mm. Each specimen is individually polished to reveal internal structure.

Agate Slice Specimens

Polished agate geode slices displaying dramatic colour banding and internal crystal formations. Specimens include:

• One large yellow and blue banded agate slice (approximately 80mm x 50mm) with natural edge

• Two deep blue agate slices with white banding and natural weathered edges (approximately 70mm x 45mm each)

• Two additional blue agate specimens with visible internal crystal structure and natural matrix edges

All agate pieces display the characteristic concentric banding patterns and internal quartz crystal formations typical of quality agate geodes. The blue specimens show deep indigo coloration with lighter blue and white banding. The yellow specimen displays warm golden tones contrasting with deep blue sections.

Condition and Presentation

All specimens are in excellent condition. Polished pieces display high-gloss finishes with no chips or cracks observed. Raw tourmaline specimens show natural weathering consistent with geological formation. Agate slices are intact with natural edges preserved. All pieces are clean and ready for display or collection.
