SALVAGE NOTES:
The vehicle is currently in a no-start condition. Daimler attended the vehicle to conduct an initial inspection and pre-purchase check, including obtaining electronic vehicle data, carrying out a quick test, reviewing maintenance history and assessing the engine.
During the inspection, it was identified that several critical electronic control units were missing from the vehicle, including the CPC control unit, EBS control unit and PSM control unit. These missing components are currently preventing the vehicle from starting and therefore limit the ability to complete further mechanical and engine testing.
Daimler has quoted $16,076.66 + GST ($17,684.33 incl. GST) to supply the required replacement control units and associated receptacle housing.
Importantly, this expenditure would replace the missing control units and allow the vehicle to be started and/or further diagnosed. It does not confirm that the engine or other mechanical components are operational or free from additional faults.
