Overview
2022 Viking VC60S3 enclosed diesel generator set, powered by a Cummins 4BTA3.9-G2 four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine producing 48 kW (60 KVA) prime power. The data plate states 415/240 volts, 1500 RPM, 50 Hz, power factor 0.8, three-phase output, with a standby rating of 66 KVA / 53 kW. The alternator model is listed on the data plate as TAL-A42-H.
The generator is fitted with a ComAp InteliLite MRS 16 controller, an emergency stop button with remote start provision, battery isolator and starter isolator switches, and a fire extinguisher mounted on the canopy. The outlet panel includes two Clipsal 15A 250V single-phase switched outlets and one Clipsal 32A 500V three-phase switched outlet, with Chint circuit breakers behind a clear cover. A 415V bus bar connection panel with L1, L2, L3, N and G terminals is fitted. A lockable diesel fuel filler cap is located on the left side panel with a "Diesel Fuel Only" label. Lifting points are fitted at each end of the canopy.
Condition
The enclosed canopy is in serviceable condition with Viking Industrial branding on all sides. The white lower panels show general dirt staining and scuff marks. The black upper panels show light scratches. The steel base frame and skid feet show surface rust and wear consistent with site use. The canopy doors and latches appear intact.
Inside the engine bay, the Cummins engine presents in teal-green paint with general grime and light surface corrosion on some fittings. The oil filter has a handwritten notation reading "30-7-24" and "2151 HRS" (photo 16). The fuel filters are Fleetguard FS1280 units, each marked with "2151" and a date (photos 22, 24). The radiator carries a Cummins Power Technology label with product model 4BTA-LQ-S005 and a manufacture date of 2021-12-16 (photo 25). The air filter housing is intact with a red service indicator knob visible. The alternator end cover shows scuffing and accumulated grime. The louvre vents at the radiator end show light surface rust.
